Step back in time and celebrate Brighton’s history at 80 Years on Main, a free community celebration hosted at Gather Brighton. Built in 1946, our building has served as a cornerstone of Main Street for eight decades, and this special evening honors the stories, people, and businesses that shaped our city.
Enjoy a nostalgic experience featuring 1940s décor, jazz music, a “Brighton Through the Decades” photo gallery, City and Historical Society stories, vintage-inspired food and drinks, and a collaborative Memory Wall where guests can share their personal memories of Brighton.
Meet neighbors, connect with local businesses at our Small Business Showcase, and explore optional vintage-style upsells like soda fountain drinks, charcuterie cups, collectible postcards, enamel pins, and a limited-edition “80 Years on Main” poster.
The event is free with RSVP, designed to bring the community together, grow local connections, and kick off a year full of Gather Brighton events including Galentine’s Day, Spring Gathering, Summer Kickoff, and more.
